Bijay K. Pokhrel received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering in Nepal and Master of Hydrology in Ireland. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Agricultural Economics at LSU. He spent several years in Nepal serving as a Consultant, Expert, Engineer, and Senior Hydrologist. Mr. Pokhrel also spent time in France working as a researcher in snow and glacier fields and in Afghanistan to serve as a River Basin Modeler. His key areas of interest are Water Resource Engineering, Hydrology, Snow and Glacier, and Natural Resource Economics.
