Michelle Savolainen holds a B.B.A. degree in Business Management from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX, and was a graduate of the Honors Scholar Program. Her Capstone project was entitled Nokia Siemens Networks: A Case Study of the Joint Venture between Nokia and Siemens. Previous research in the field of botany includes feeding efficiency experimentation and microscopic examination of trapping mechanisms of Dionaea muscipula. Other research includes in-depth SWOT analyses and marketing reports on industry competitors and technologies in the field of environmental engineering. Michelle’s current work focuses on a survey of the recreational-for-hire fishery in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
