Dr. Chi is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Brownsville. He holds a B.S. in Forestry and an M.S. in Forest Management in Taiwan; an M.S. in Economics and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from LSU. Dr. Chi conducts research into the economics of leisure, recreation, tourism, and nature-based tourism. He also involves in research on a variety of topics, including natural resource & environmental economics, social ecological & economic analysis, and human dimensions of natural resources.
