Current Research:
Public understanding of coastal erosion and support for restoration.
CREST. Recreation conflicts and impacts of visitor uses of Atlantic
coastal barrier islands.
Past Research:
Conducted
research for National Park Service in Alaska, Oregon, California,
Montana, and Maryland Leader of the Human Dimensions Research
Program at the Illinois Natural History Survey, Champaign, IL.
Research Interests:
Human Dimensions of Natural Resources: emphasis on studies of
satisfaction, policy implementation, and conflict over resource
allocations among hunters and anglers. Also specializes in studies
on research methodology.
