Current Position: Assistant Professor, Human Dimensions, Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of Georgia, Athens, GA

Education: Ph.D. in Parks and Recreation Management from The Pennsylvania State University, minors in statistics, forest resources, conservation biology

Experience: Taught human dimensions courses at Penn State, University of Idaho, University of Illinois, Louisiana State University, and University of Georgia

Current Research: Public understanding of coastal erosion and support for restoration. CREST. Recreation conflicts and impacts of visitor uses of Atlantic coastal barrier islands.

Past Research: Conducted research for National Park Service in Alaska, Oregon, California, Montana, and Maryland Leader of the Human Dimensions Research Program at the Illinois Natural History Survey, Champaign, IL.

Research Interests: Human Dimensions of Natural Resources: emphasis on studies of satisfaction, policy implementation, and conflict over resource allocations among hunters and anglers. Also specializes in studies on research methodology.
