Dr. Barro is an economist with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Her current work primarily focuses on the econometric analysis of systemic employment discrimination cases. Prior to joining EEOC, Dr. Barro was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Louisiana State University (LSU) where she led a team of investigators in a federally funded grant for valuation survey research. Her academic research experience includes spatial econometrics, survey research, and natural resource economics. Dr. Barro also held a position as a Tax Research Analyst at the Philadelphia Department of Revenue, where she performed spatial analyses on large tax datasets for decision support and policy. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from LSU.
