Luke is an Economist with Mather Economics, LLC, where he serves as Manager for Special Projects. He and his team perform research and apply findings using econometric modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics in a variety of contexts. His research interests include environmental policy, agricultural productivity, technology-driven change, and business strategy. His clients include agricultural businesses and environmental non-profits such as AgSystems and The Nature Conservancy as well as major media companies and ecommerce platforms such as The New York Times and Google. Luke holds a B.S. in Geography from the University of Alabama, a M.S. in Agricultural Economics, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Louisiana State University with concentrations in Environmental Economics and Econometrics.
