Hua Wang is currently working on his PH.D. degree in Agricultural Economics at Louisiana State University. His dissertation is in the area of ecosystem service valuation in coastal Louisiana, specifically, estimating the factors that motivate private landowners to participate in income-generating activities from their coastal wetland tracts and with this understanding to design potential policy instruments that provide incentives for private coastal wetlands stewardship.  Hua Wang received his M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Louisiana State University. His thesis focused on the economic assessment of rapid land-building technologies for coastal wetland restoration. In addition, He has a B.S. degree in Business Management from Xiangtan University in Hunan, China.
