Dr. Hua Wang specializes in environmental and natural resource economics. His research projects are in the area of soil and water management in crop production and coastal wetland restorations and planning. The overall objective of his research and extension program is to evaluate and assess the impact of farm product policies as well as wetland restoration policies on the economic decision making of landowners and their operation and how they subsequently affect the well-being of regional communities. Dr. Wang earned his M.S. degree in statistics (2018) from Louisiana State University. In addition, he holds his M.S. degree in agricultural economics (2012) and a Ph.D. degree in agricultural economics (2016) from Louisiana State University.
